The Brief:
Create a social media campaign that hero Ola’s best selling products to the target audience, increase engagement with the consumers to find out about market research through the choice of products they like through the advertised content.
The Idea:
I worked with Elite Promotions in the creation of the digital campaign titled ‘What’s your taste’. The digital campaign serves to captivate the consumer in a fun and creative approach. The ice cream brand, Ola, focuses on the different types of ice cream product options the consumer can identify with to their personalities and liking. The ice cream product names are as follows:
• Magnum South Africa
• Fruttare
• Rich ‘n creamy
• Cornetto
• Paddle pop
In the digital age we live in, we want to help the Ola brand take advantage of the viral posting which will drive traffic to their social media accounts. We believe that people who engage with the brand and its products are most likely to build a long lasting brand loyalty. The ‘What’s your taste’ campaign will be centred around having influencers with different makeup looks that are inspired by the different flavours from the Ola brands.
The Solution:
Ola has a significant online presence, all the more, working closely with Elite Promotions, I developed a digital strategy that is centred around the products of the brand in creating a content calendar for digital assets, copywriting, PR strategy and digital only advertising for the entire project.
